Brand new. $ My 5 year old son loves this book. He became interested in learning about Native American history after reading a Magic Treehouse book about the buffalo.

Now he wants to learn about Native American heroes mentioned in this book, so we will continue on with that. I’m learning a good deal myself!Cited by: 2. The documentation of the photo's for all the different North American Indians that were around at the turn of the century can not be undervalued.

The treatment, agreements and every following one that was broken makes this one of the worst tragedies in our Country's history/5. Families can talk about how Native Americans have been treated by the U.S. government throughout history, and note that the book was written before the term "Native American" became more commonly used/accepted than those like "Indian" and "American Indian."3/5.

What a cool book. There is so much history and cool facts in it. This book could be used for Idaho history or really any north american history. There could be a lot of good and cool lessons from this book and what it has to offer. It is so interesting to see what they really did and how they progressed through time/5.
